Wacky Pack Changes
Effective January 1st, we will no longer be offering toys in our Wacky Pack children's meals.
Instead, we will be making a donation to local youth charities for every Wacky Pack meal sold. Donations will be made on a quarterly basis with a focus on childhood education and youth outreach programs. The selected charities and the amount donated to each will be announced quarterly. If you have a local charity that you would like considered for donations, please visit us on Facebook "Sonic Portland" and submit your ideas. Coming Soon to Cornelius
Our newest location to the Sonic Portland group, Cornelius, will be opening late January. What makes this location special? It will feature the standard drive-thru, classic stalls, patio, and most exciting, INDOOR DINING. And not just any indoor dining – think flat screen TV's, fireplace with comfy couches and chairs, booths, and your food brought to you by carhops on roller-skates, in classic Sonic style!

Sonic Going Green
We are proud to announce that in February 2011, we installed Solar Panels on top of our Drive-In Canopy at our Wilsonville location that will generate electricity to help with community sustainability. http://www.kptv.com/news/26885 Our other Oregon Drive-In locations will be similarly outfitted before 2011 ends!

Sonic Hits Tigard
February 1st, 2010- You’ve been asking for more locations, and we’ve been listening! We are proud to announce that Tigard, Oregon will be home to our 4th SONIC Drive-In. Opening early summer, 2010. Check back for updates on construction progress, Grand Opening date, and other event information!

Limeades for Learning Update
October 20, 2009- The results of Limeades for Learning are in! A big thank you to all of our customers who participated in the Limeades for Learning program! Nation-wide, 1,420 public school projects were funded in 40 states totaling over $632,000! None of this would have been possible without your vote. We look forward to working with each of your schools in projects like this again in the future.

Limeades for Learning
September 6th, 2009- Limeades for Learning is funding classroom projects nationwide. The first classroom to receive funds in Oregon was a classroom in Portland for science experiments. Mrs. R’s class won funding with 68 votes. Congratulations!

Oregon Cancer Ski Out!
February 14th, 2009- This is the 4th year that SONIC Drive-In & The Wetsel Company have been proud supporters of the Oregon Cancer Ski Out. For every Blended Float and CroisSONIC sold between February 14th and 27th, we will donate $1 to the Oregon Cancer Ski Out.
